Homemade Matcha Latte Recipe

I'm going to teach you how to make a delicious Matcha latte using the Chi Fit Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea product!

 

First of all, what is a Matcha?

 What is a Matcha Latte?

Matcha latte is simply a cup of matcha tea made with milk (or a milk alternative) instead of water! (It does not contain coffee). Matcha in non-latte form can be a very strong tasting bitter drink, so turning it into a latte makes it much more pleasent to drink especially for those who have never tried matcha before.

 

Ingredients:

This recipe makes one serving

  • Chi Fit Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder

  • Hot Water

  • Honey

  • Vanilla flavoring (optional)

  • Milk or a milk alternative

  • Chi Fit Bamboo Matcha Whisk

 

Instructions:

         


  1. Sieve one teaspoon of Chi Fit Ceremonial Grade Matcha powder into a bowl or measuring jug.






  2. Poor a roughly a centimeter of hot water into the bowl or jug.







  3. Using your Chi Fit Bamboo Matcha Whisk, whisk the matcha in a W motion until it becomes nice and forthy like the image above.

  4. Add 1 teaspoon of honey (optional step is to add a drop of vanilla flavoring)

  5. Warm a cup of milk or a milk alternative.

  6. Pour the warm milk into the bowl or jug.

  7. Pour into a mug and it is ready to drink. Add more honey to taste if necessary.
