Welcome to the ChiFit Tea Frequently Asked Questions page. Whether you're new to our premium Irish tea blends or a long-time fan of your daily cup, you'll find quick, helpful answers here about our teas, ingredients, caffeine, reusable teabags, packaging, discounts and orders.
Choosing your blend. ChiFit makes three signature tea blends for every part of your day: Original for daytime, Calm for slowing down and Sleep for the evening. Each one is built around fresh mint and soft rose petals, so even people who don't usually enjoy green or herbal tea love the taste.
How it's made. Our herbs are sourced from a family tea plantation in Yunnan, in south-west China, and blended into biodegradable, vegan-friendly teabags you can brew at least four times.

Which ChiFit tea blend should I choose?
It depends on your moment. Original is our fresh, minty daytime blend. Calm is soft and floral for slowing down in the afternoon. Sleep adds valerian root for your evening cup. Can't decide? Our Full Ritual bundle includes all three.
What does ChiFit Original taste like?
It has a fresh, minty taste with soft rose petals, and it doesn't taste like green tea. People who don't usually like herbal or green tea love ChiFit Original Tea Blend, and so do herbal tea lovers.
What do Calm and Sleep taste like?
Calm is soft and floral: gentle mint, lavender and rose with a light touch of chamomile and jasmine. Sleep has everything you love about Calm, with valerian root added for your evening cup.
Where does ChiFit tea come from?
ChiFit is an Irish, homegrown tea company founded in 2018 by Dr Rosalind Beere. Our herbs are sourced from a family tea plantation in Yunnan, in south-west China, ethically grown and carefully chosen.
Is ChiFit a weight-loss tea?
No: ChiFit is a delicious everyday tea. Original tastes great without milk or sugar, so many customers enjoy a cup in place of a sugary drink or a snack, as part of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle.
How do I reuse the teabag?
After infusing the water with the tea, take out the teabag and place it in a teabag holder on the counter between uses. When you're ready for your next cup, just pop it back in your cup of water as normal, it does take a little longer to infuse after each use. The number of uses you get depends on how strong you like your tea, but you will get a minimum of 4. If you're leaving it overnight, place the teabag in the fridge.
Are ChiFit teabags vegan?
Yes. Our teabags are vegan-friendly and made from biodegradable Zein fibre.
Does ChiFit Original contain caffeine?
Yes, a little, about 27mg per cup, and the amount reduces each time you reuse the teabag.
Is the packaging recyclable and biodegradable?
Our stand-up pouch IS recyclable and landfill friendly. To be clear, it is made from Kraft material that is laminated on the inside, once Kraft is laminated it is NOT biodegradable, but it is recyclable. The lamination protects the tea inside and keeps it fresh.
All our teabags are made from Zein fibre and ARE biodegradable.
Can I drink ChiFit if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, preparing for fertility treatment, taking medication or have a medical condition. ChiFit Original contains about 27mg of caffeine per cup.
What does the Turmeric Latte taste like?
It doesn't taste of turmeric at all, it's a sweet, creamy, vanilla-like flavour, with only 5 calories per large serving.
Where can I buy ChiFit tea?
You can order online here at chifittea.com. ChiFit has also been stocked in selected Irish retailers and cafés, see the “As stocked in” section on our homepage.
Where do I enter my discount code?
After adding items to your cart, click the checkout button. Among the steps for your delivery and payment details there is a box that says “Discount code”, enter your code there and click Apply. If the code is valid, your order total will reduce.
